Warranty Policy

These policies apply only to Teewing products purchased for personal use through Teewing or its authorized retailers. Products purchased for resale are not covered.

By using Teewing products, you agree to these policies. If you do not agree or do not meet the eligibility criteria, please do not use the product.


1. Limited Warranty Coverage

 

Teewing guarantees that products manufactured by Teewing will be free from material defects or faulty workmanship under normal use, following Teewing’s user manuals.

The warranty period for a product starts on the delivery date shown on your purchase invoice. If no invoice is available, the warranty period begins 90 days after shipping from Teewing.

Main Component Warranty Periods

The Teewing carbon fiber frame, excluding paint and graphics, is covered for 5 years for the original owner. Subsequent owners, meaning second-hand or later, are eligible for a 2-year warranty starting from the shipment date from Teewing to the original owner.

The handlebar, stem, wheels, and any paint or graphics are covered for 2 years.

All accessories, including lights, bells, pumps, and torque keys, are covered for 1 year.

The drive system, including motor, battery, display, wireless remote, and charger, is covered for 2 years, with the battery warranty including up to 500 charge cycles. All other parts not manufactured by Teewing are covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty.

Any repaired or replaced parts will inherit the remaining warranty period of the original component.


2. Warranty Service Eligibility

 

You may request warranty repair or replacement if all the following conditions are met:

  1. The product has been used normally according to Teewing’s official manuals and published guidelines.
  2. No unauthorized modifications, installations, or adjustments have been made.
  3. You can provide a valid proof of purchase, such as an invoice, receipt, or order number.

Warranty service does not cover:

  • Damage caused by collisions, fire, or other external events unrelated to manufacturing.
  • Damage resulting from improper installation, adjustment, or use of incompatible coatings or accessories.
  • Damage caused by self-repair, unauthorized modifications, or incorrect use.
  • Battery misuse, over-discharge, or use of third-party components not approved by Teewing.
  • Corrosion, tampered serial numbers, or altered identification labels.
  • Daily wear and tear of easily consumable parts, including tires, chains, chainrings, cassettes, grips, bearings, screws, nuts, fenders, saddle fabrics, and similar items.
  • Labor or shipping fees for part replacement.

3. Data and Privacy

 

When you request service under this policy, you authorize Teewing to collect, store, and process your personal contact information, including name, phone number, address, and email. This data is necessary to provide repair service, notify you of recalls or safety issues, and assess customer satisfaction.

Your information may be transferred internationally or shared with service partners as required by law.


4. Important Notes

 

  • Warranty periods, return & refund policies, replacement service, and repair service may vary depending on the product or the country of purchase.
  • Teewing will first troubleshoot the product remotely. If the detected issue is not covered under warranty, Teewing may charge fees for inspection, testing, replacement parts, labor, and shipping.
  • Any user-generated data may be lost during repair. Please back up your data before sending the product for service.
  • Severely damaged batteries (broken cores, swelling, leakage) cannot be returned and will be disposed of by Teewing.
  • Global warranty is not available for Teewing products.
  • Replacement parts may be newer or updated models, but Teewing will ensure compatibility and similarity to the original part.

5. Limitation of Liability

 

Teewing is responsible only for loss or damage occurring while the product is in Teewing’s possession or during transit if Teewing is liable for shipping.

Teewing is not liable for:

  • Loss or disclosure of data, including personal, confidential, or proprietary information.
  • Third-party claims.
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

The maximum liability for any claim is limited to the actual purchase price of the product. This limitation does not apply to death or bodily injury caused by Teewing.


6. Additional Legal Rights

 

This warranty and the return, refund, and replacement policies provide additional rights and do not affect your statutory consumer rights under local laws or regulations, including European consumer protection laws where applicable.


7. Crash Replacement Program

 

To ensure worry-free riding, Teewing offers a one-time discounted replacement for the original carbon frame or wheel if it is damaged in an accident and not covered under warranty. Discounts are determined at thetime of service and are only available to the original owner.
